Scope and evidence
Nike and Marriott Hotels — starter research
Checked 3 October 2026. These are deliberately narrow first drafts, not exhaustive research or approved releases. Shared DNA and renderer are reused; voice, numeric weights, colours and motion are editorial hypotheses. Live sessions are blocked pending human review.
Nike: https://about.nike.com/en/mission provides inclusive mission and iterative innovation positioning. https://www.nike.com/house-of-innovation/ provides local retail curation and customisation examples. Both pages were opened and their relevant text inspected. Brand-owned statements are positioning, not independent evidence of outcomes. Next: archive and campaign research, athlete/community perspectives, product/version and market claim records, qualified performance evidence, counter-evidence and category boundaries. Do not infer present stock, returns, service availability or health guidance.
Marriott Hotels: https://marriott-hotels.marriott.com/our-story/ describes hospitality craft and Wonderful Gestures. https://www.marriott.com/culture-and-values/core-values.mi supplies Marriott International values as explicitly corporate context. Both pages were opened and inspected. Scope deliberately excludes portfolio-wide claims, Bonvoy entitlements and property-specific availability or policies. Next: Hotels-specific service expression, history, property-policy variability, accessibility information with verification dates, guest perspectives and documented failure scenarios. Corporate aspirations are not evidence that every property meets them.
Each starter has eight editorial decisions with explicit assumptions and four curated encounters, including one boundary case. This starts the work requested; it does not resolve the prior audit's scoped-claim and provenance limitations. The future claim structure must replace broad source-level references before credible scaling.
